Check your ground. and there should be a fuse in there for it. read your owners manual or even get a haynes manual. those things are like the bible for car owners. that should tell you where the fuse should be and what size.

you could also go through your fuse box and look for any burnt out fuses. sometimes they put different stuff together like your horn and headlights.

and one more thing is check the wiring going to the sockets. it could be shorting out if the wires got burned, cut, or even just a little bit of insulation missing.

my guess is most likely a ground or fuse though

If 10A fuse C24 in the passenger compartment fuse box checks OK power is getting to the extended x-feed relay which may be defective. The central electronic control module manages a number of inputs to derive output that is applied to the headlight control panel. The CECM could be defective.

Replaced alternator on sunfire now headlights wont work

Do the high beams work? How about he signal lights? seems to me a light relay (fuse) is gonzo. Basically, there is a light switch that is wired to a fuse/relay. From this fuse relay there is another wire that goes towards the headlights. Seeing both lights are not working chances are the fuse /relay is done for. Cheap and easy fix.

Instrument panel lights fail to come on when headlights switched on. Any clues? Fuse is OK, dimmer switch connections seem OK.

there may be a connector block vibrated off behind the panel or something could have blown bulbs but not fuse.
