SOURCE: horn fuse keeps blowing out

Check the wiring around the horn and make sure nothing is touching metal...look under the hood at the horn and make sure everything is pluged in and there is no water on any plugs or wiring...Make sure the fuse is the correct number (ex: 10, 20, 25) If it is still blowing out the fuse then you after you do some checking then it is a short in some wires

SOURCE: replace horn fuse in fuse panel of 1992 pontiac bonneville

Your fuse box is located on the driver side under the dash board. Up above where your brake and gas pedal are located. There should be a plastic cover that can be snapped off to reveal all of your fuses and on the inside of this plastic cover there should be a diagram of the fuses that are in use.

The horn on my sequoia randomly went off,no one was driving it it was just parked in the drive way. I had to unplug the horn.

Could be a motion sensor is going bad (sensors that detect someone breaking in). See if you dealer can verify they are OK.

My horn doesn't work, the air bag light is on and the back light for my D (drive) for the automatic transmission is off. I checked the fuses and don't ssem to find a bad fuse. One thing I noticed is...

yes, it sounds like the problem is there. There is a spiral cable unit directly below the steering wheel that is most likely the problem, the air bag circuit and horn circuits go through this spiral cable. I probably needs to be replaced.

TRAC and VSC light on my sequoia is always on, took it to a mechanic to see the code and he told me could not communicate to the computer and it could be loose wire or blown fuse. I checked all the fuses...

is it 4wd? if so then you might have a bad hub bearing? is it making a loud hmming type noise? kinda like a plane taking off? i just changed 2 hub bearings on a rand prix and the trac light and the abs lights were on all the time. replaced the hub bearings and went away. to find out if you do have a bad hub bearing jack up each tire and grab it at the top of the wheel with one hand and grab it at the bottom with the other hand. now try to wiggle it. if it moves at all then the bearing is bad if it doesnt then thats not your problem. also check the abs connections at the hubs as well. the plug and hub bearing is all one unit. if the plug is bad the the hb will need to be replaced even if the hub isnt bad.

2002 Chevy Avalanche horn does not work.

Using a test light check for power at the horn while someone pushs the horn button. also check for bad fuses or relays that are very well labeled in your underhood and dashside fuseblocks. If you have power but the horn dont blow, replace the horn. If you dont have power, go back and dig through fuses and relays. One of these will help to fixya!! Good Luck
