Question about 1992 Buick Riviera

1992 Buick Riviera turns over but does not start..

I have a 1992 Buick Riviera that turns over but does not start. I replaced the coil packs and the ICM underneath the coils. The previous pack seemed to have had a crack in it and was arcing to the alternator bracket. After those were replaced I tried to start the car but it would not start. It would turn over just fine but would not fire. Checked to make sure the firing order was correct and still would not turn over. Could it be a bad CPS?

Change the spark plugs end wires. One bad plug or a wire can cause a miss like you wouldn,t belive. Evan on a vehicle with low miles on it.

Stall's out when giving gas or back fire's . put full tune up on it & changed air mass flow sensor coil pack . mudgule fell filter

Was it doing this before you tuned it up, or is it possible you have some plug wires crossed? It could be a bad camshaft, flat lobe will make it backfire, usually backfires though the carburator.

Sounds like you have a bad coil pack or bad plug wires. Test your wires and coil packs.
