Depends. First check for fuel and spark. Its rare a honda pump go out but it does happen. It has happened to me a couple times. Ive owned 14 hondas so this should be accurate. The ignition control module is located in the distributor, its a small square black piece that has four wires pluged onto it. Have that checked and also the coil. We'll go from there for now

What could cause my car to start often then about 5 to ten miles r so driving it all of sudden bogs down to nothing even when steping on gas pedal? It will then restart after sitting for awhile

your intake gasket is cracked if its coming from intake. will be a simple fix, and those need to be replaced as often as possible so the bolts don't seize up.

Integra was sputtering like it was running out of gas. Just now wont idle. If not held above RPM's it dies. When it died, it will turn over but doesnt seem to get gas going. Thinking its the fuel pump....

As the fuel train which supplies the injectors w/ the needed gas...Im quite sure that if you purge the fuel train of air your problem will cease.hope this helps ."Reno"

1990 acura integra gs. Started hesitating and trying to quit at stop light. started driving again and when I tried giving it gas, its wouldnt go. It finally died. It acts like its not getting any gas when...

Is it getting gas?? Is the fuel pump working?? A 1990 could have rust in the fuel tank plugging up lines, filter or the pump. Or the fuel pump is not getting power. Just a few thoughts.

Why won't my 1990 acura integra go over 4000 rpm?

Could be fuel filter. This will restrict a lot. If it is automatic it might be your transmission control module. Your check engine light should be coming on if it's not already.

Runs 5 minutes then dies. Won't start until engine is cold.

Try the WD-40 spray in intake of throttle body with air intake hose off, to see if it will kick at all, even for a second or 2. We need to confirm whether your losing fuel or spark when it dies. Ignition & fuel, can cause similar symptoms in this case.

Belt replacement 1990 acura integra

Ok, you will need a 10 mm socket and extension and a 14 and 15 mm wrench. One of the "idler" pullies is actualy an adjustable tension pully. loosen the center nut on the pully, and then begin loosening the 10 mm bolt from above. as you loosen it, the pully will drop, and soon enough you can slip the belt off.
good luck
