You would need to take the wheel off... then the caliper... you will see the shaft that comes thru from the front drive shaft... the bearing is what the shaft goes thru... there should be a cover over it... it's a press fit... you'll need a puller to take it out.

that was actually a fixya i would think... be that as it may i'm not certain which way to turn tho. impact socket and air gun is your best bet... i can remember standing on a wrench and putting all my weight on it to undo those nuts....

I haven't done one in ages... i believe you need to undo the ball joint to pull it away far enough to pull out the spindle

I have a 2009 altima. I hearing a roaring noise

In my 2005 Nissan Altima I experienced a roaring noise from the rear of the car. It ended up being the rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced. It appears that this is a common problem with Nissan Altima's & Maxima's of varying years even with fairly low mileage. This might be your problem.

I have a constant grinding noise coming from the left front tire assembly. I replaced brakes and rotors and noise is still there. none of the noise is a result of pressing on the brakes. any ideas?

I would guess wheel bearings. does the noise increase as you go faster? Altima wheel bearings are common. If this is the case go ahead and replace both sides as the other one will go soon as well. I hope this helps and good luck.

Noise from rear wheel area that sounds like bearing noise.

Might want to check your camber adjustments and look into shocks and struts. They could all be worn out but prolly the camber is off causing abnormal road noise and abnormal tire wear

Intermittent squeal Nissan Primera Y reg 1.8

That would be the Wheel Bearings or the Brakes. Check the Brake Pads first for Wear, If they are OK, Then you will need to Pull the Rotors and Replace the Bearings.
