Question about 2005 Ford Mustang
My speedometer was working perfectly until I have a flat tire (first ever) had to drive with spare (donut) and after i drove it home the speedmeter in park was at 50, then 60, and so on.... after tire was repaired and replaced, the speedometer would go down in 10 mph increments until back at 0... was fine for a while... then out of the blue it is back at park past 120 mph......
anybody have a clue???
This is pretty common on the 2005 Mustangs, it's caused by failing stepper motors in the instrument cluster, they control the movement of the gauges. There's a guide on how to fix them here - 2005 Mustang speedometer problem
