Question about 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier
Mine needs to be replaced also, and i sure hope these "so called mechanics" give you a real answer, and not one that says remove belts, pulley so on, because on mine 2001 cav z24 2.4 there is NO belts attached to it, they are on completely opposite sides of the engine.

#1 it is Over Full, You should have just enough in it too read on the Check Level Cap. Over Filling will Wear out the Seals. #2 It is NOT an Easy Repair and is Time Consuming and Frustrating, If you attempt this Repair, BE PATIENT, You will get it.
