You are going to have to Check the Wiring Harnesses that Connect the Motor to the Computer and Make sure that you have the Same wires as the New one does, If not it will not Transfer.

Changed transmission in 2001 bonneville and now it wont start.....why?? ****** came outta 1999 buick regal ... thought it was starter had it checked was told it was fine????? whats the deal.

if the codes on the transmissions tags id plates do not match which I am sure they don't they are not compadible to use. All GM transmissions are ran off the PCM and wrong year transmissions installed cause the biggest greif since they are electronic
Also the neutral saftey / starter switch on the trans has to be adjusted to work correctly.

Where is the auto transmission filter on a 2001 huyundai elantra?

Usually, auto transmission filters are located in the bottom side of the transmission located in a pan that has several bolts on it. I think that that's the way yours is.

2000 Hyundai elantra transmission delay, reverse going

Did you check the transmission fluid level? If necessary, add fluid. However you probably have a more serious problem. Take the car to a qualified transmission mechanic.

I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra with 250,000 miles. When I pull up to a stop sign, I get a jerk from the transmission and also when I pull away. Could this be some kind of sensor with the ABS or is it even...

At any moment, did the Check Engine light come ON? Whenever the "Check Engine" light comes on, there is always a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECM (Engine Control Module). You'll need an OBDII (On-Board-Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any codes recorded/set in ECM. The possible causes for the problem you describe are many. My experience makes me suspect the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), especially if there are no DTC's. The TPSensor (sofisticated rheostat) is a duo-circuit potentiometer wiich has developed (or is developing) bad spots resulting in erratic voltage signals being sent to the ECM. These voltage signals are used by the ECM to calculate 'LOAD' and is also used by the TCM (Trasmission Control Module) to know when to upshift/downshift.
These bad spots can be verified/detected using an Analog Ohm Meter
