My dvd player for my 2004 accura is working but the screen wont show movies, there is sound but no picture

Put the DVD player back in or replace it. They are interconnected. One won't work without the other...

It is not DVD problem but I think you have to change the display screen which might be damage. You have to go to reputable service centre and change screen to enjoy a movie while travelling.

toyota wiring diagram is showing that there is no cables and only wires with connectors that are located in the headliner and the center console about where you can store stuff.........the repair manual shows that it is either the screen that is bad or the control unit which is under the center console....i would take it to the dealer to have it checked out cause i know that they have probably seen this problem before and it would save a lot of money in the long run.....it could have had something spilled or have gotten wet from a cleanup shop and have corrision in one of the connectors at the control unit under the console......i hope this info helped and let me know and let me know what you find out...........good luck and if i can be of any other help let me know.....

You put the radio on 88.3 FM and the sound comes through the stero.

sound like a fault in dvd player.its running battery down.have dealership check it out.sound like a electrical problem.

Have you tried replacing batteries in the remote control and switch on from there ? It worked with mine, I had the sound but no picture.

there should be a wiring harness from the dvd player that plugs into speaker wiring harness and is controlled with stereo volume
