Hi from uk the clutch master cylinder is the one that is operated directly by the clutch pedal and is usually ?bolted to the bulkhead under the hood it will have a single pipe screwed into it and this if you follow it? will lead to the slave cylinder this is the cylinder that actually works to disengage/engage clutch at the g/box SO the master works the slave is the way to identify ? as for diy? yes if you feel confident? after assessing the job why not? be sure to have some fluid?same as brake fluid to bleed the system once cyl is fitted and you will need an assistant to help when you come to bleed system any more problems contact ? and will be glad to assist

Not usually these models all had hydraulic master cylinders for the clutch, if there is a master cylinder next to the brake master cylinder then that will be the clutch master cylinder and it will be hydraulic.
want to know a short cut? (trick) take the master cylinder for the clutch off the firewall and tilt forward while pumping the pistron by hand and bleeding those fords are notorious for air locking in the master cylinder due to the fact!! they fasten to the firewall at a backwards tilt!! i have done over 2700 of them in 45 years
they use a hydrolic system wich use fluid if your gears are not grabbing and its slipping no udjucment require because the cluck is bad but if you cant put it in gear when it on then its your hydrolic system
You need to check the slave/master cylinders for leaking. Loose pedal means there is no liquid inside, clutch is bleeding. Look under the vihicle for leaks and floore inside tha cabin.

Thank you for the request. Since the car only has 24,000 miles on it, I would take it back to the dealer. It does sound like that your clutch needs an adjustment of some type. Since I do not own a Hyundai I have no idea what the actual problem might be. I just did some research and found out that the clutch in your car is hydrolic (meaning that it uses a master and slave cylinder with hydrolic fluid to push the clutch arm when you push the clutch pedal with your foot). Trying to work on this type of clutch system can sometimes be a very hard to do. With the small amount of miles your car has on it, I would get the dealer involved in solving this problem. It could be something as simple as bleeding air from the hydrolic system of the clutch or it might be replacement of either the master cylinder, the slave cylinder and/or the fluid line that goes in between those two cylinders.
