2004 grand prix gt going crazy

Due to negative temps yesterday my 2004 grand prix had to jumped. (battery was totally dead) Since the car has been jump started it keeps making a clicking noise on and off while driving and the displays and headlamps keep flickering. Do I need a new battery or maybe the computer reset or could it be something else???

I think its you alternator, the battery and alternator kind of work back to back with each other. I will take the car to shop that you know and can trust and have them diagnose the car all together. Good Luck.

2004 pontiac grand prix temp guage moves up and down never really going up to second notch on guage. Last night after 20 mins of driving if droped all the way down and stayed there

This is an electrical problem. Clean the battery cables and it may fix it. Or it may need a new thermostat. This is 2 common problems with the Grand Prix

sounds like the car is running off the battery due to a bad alternator, the battery is just for the car to start, not to keep it running, replace the alternator and charge the battery and your problem should be solved, hope this helped

How to reset the "service engine soon" light on a 2001 pontiac grand prix gt

you can go to advance auto and use there scanner for free to clear the code its called an obd2 connection or when you disconnect your battery you can touch your black negative cable to your red positive cable that connects to the battery and it will completley drain everything and reset but warning you if your trying to get the car through emissions your gonna have to drive the car 50 or 100 miles after you disconnect the battery each time..
