Its not hard to do just time consuming.you have to take the venting out below the center o the dash inside to get to it to get it loose and then you have to get under the hood and take the two hoses loose so you can change it out

Why wont my 99 chevy blazer temperature warm up?

You may have vapour lock in your heater lines. Start engine, put heat lever on high, disconnect one of the lines on your heater core, the one on the flow out side, & see if you have any air coming out. Once antifreese comes out stick line back on & retighten clamp. Make sure your cooling system is topped off. Also your water pump may not be functionihg to it's maximum. Take rad cap off cold & view flow rate. If inadequate you may have to replace the water pump. Good luck!

I need information on how to replace the heater core in a 1994 chevy tahoe blazer

This isn't as much a solution as it is a bandage.
But, I akso have a 94 Tahoe Blazer and my heater core was messed up, so I bypassed it. It was filling the cab with anti-freeze vapors, not good. So, I cut the two hoses coming from the heater core, (located right behind glove box under hood) one hose goes from this rounded black piece of metal to the radiator, and the other goes straight into the engine block. if you cut them at the place where they enter the engine from the glove box (area), and bind them together with a smaller metal flanged (on both sides) pipe, insert flanged edges inside each hose, and use the clamps that you tighten with a screwdriver on both sides of the bound hoses. (sorry, not mechanically savvy) So, when you're done, the hose from the radiator goes straight into the engine. It solved my leaky anti-freeze leak, and no more anti-freeze fumes! It's been 3.5 months and no problems have arisen with the two hoses bound together. Hope that helps!
