Front wiper motor not workin under -15'Celsius Dodge Caravan 2000

My front wiper motor isnt working when the temperature goes under -15 , so I was wondering if it was the motor that needed to be changed and if so I've bought a new one yesterday and would like to know how to install it. Tx in advance

Yeah I do hear it trying to work, wiper just wont budge a mm. But thats only when the temperature is under -15; if outside its -10 , 0 or higher then the front wiper work just fine... And since it's -28 atm they just dont work...

Do you even hear it trying to work? If so, try looking with a flashlight for spots where linkages connect & spray good with penetrating lube, to see if that doesn't help first. Note: smell of lubricant will most likely be brought in to interior, if you spray too much at passenger side area, just so you know. Try not to run heater/defrost while doing this.

I'd try lubricant, (WD-40 will unseize and remove moisture) then maybe assist it manually, very slightly to see if that helps. If your wipers will pull up & stay off windsheild, put them in that position for now. Once you get them moving as they should, spray some good lubricant on them, as WD-40 is not a lubricant. I use white lithium grease in spray can, works good for me.

How do I fix my window washer pump on my 2000 dodge caravan?

One can get a repair kit that includes a new motor pump and wiring clips, or

one can get the original motor that plugs into the windshield wiper fluid reservoir.

Windshield wiper reservoir (gives idea of how to change the windshield wiper fluid pump motor) Removal & Installation To Remove:
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the right front wheel and splash shield.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the pumps and detach the rear washer hose.
  5. Place a drain pan under the reservoir if it contains fluid.
  6. Disconnect the front washer hose at the wiper unit in the engine compartment. NOTE: The front hose will be removed with the reservoir.
  7. Let the fluid drain from the reservoir.
  8. Remove the mounting screws and the reservoir.
To Install:
  1. Install the fluid reservoir with the mounting screws.
  2. Connect the front washer hose in the engine compartment.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors and rear washer hose.
  4. Install the splash shield.
  5. Install the right front wheel.
  6. Lower the vehicle.

Front wipers stopped working but you can hear the motor run also

If the wipers were buried under snow/ice or frozen to the windshield, you may have blown the red 10 amp fuse located in cavity 9 in the fuse block located on the bottom left side of the instrument panel near the parking brake pedal.
In order of easiest to check:
1) ensure wipers not frozen to windshield.
2) ensure wiper arms are not loose on the pivot stud,
3) check the red 10 amp fuse.
You stated that "you can hear the motor". Which motor do you hear? The engine or the wiper motor?
If you hear the wiper motor, then the fuse is alright. Try 1) and 2) above.

No. I have a Caravan 2000. I can tell you that I have had to change the fan motor relay twice and it has worked ever since. As for the windows, let me guess... It goes down a little at a time, and then back up a little at a time as if it needs to cool off after 1inch or work? If so, your motor is busted. Not related to the fan!

Rear window wiper same thing! Nothing is related, they are only common problems on Caravans that somewhat happen after any given amount of time.
