It seems to only to this when the weather is bad, rain or snow. I was going to check the MAF out. Is there any troubleshooting I can do to narrow it down to this?

Cleaned connector for MAF, it had some corrosion. Put dielectric grease tool. Will see if this works.

weather change donesnt normally effect the MAF sensor.
Although, it describes your trouble. I am not aware of a way to test it other than with the computer diagnostic, which you have done. It might be cheaper to just replace it, they start at about 12 bucks . That will rule it out.
If it is only on wet days , I would check for moisture on the electrical plugs under the hood and make sure they aren't getting wet somehow from water dripping around the hood.

The "MAF' is the mass air flow sensor.
Located at the intake. It will make it hard to start and wont allow for proper adjustment of fuel/air mixture.
Is that what you wanted to know?

1994 ford escort 1.9 stalls then goes usually when lugging a clic

Faults that can cause stalling concern: O2 sensor, MAF, AIF, fuel pump, coil and ignition, injectors, Ecu etc.

the only way to find out is by scanning the ECU (car computer module) with a code reader.

This car is not OBDII compliant , therefore you will need a compatible scanner for this model that can be ordered at any part shop.

My air bag light on my 2000 Ford Econoline van flashes a 19 code. Does anyone know what that means?

Seems to be a very common problem with Ford. The wiring harness beneath the drivers seat contains the sensors for the airbag system. Go under the drivers seat and secure all the wires and clips. This makes most error lights for the airbags go away. Hope this helps and good luck!

1995 Ford Aerostar will crank and start but shuts off

Have you performed the "key on engine off" test? Make sure that you hook up the reader and turn the ignition to the on position but do not start. Next, turn the code reader on. You should then hear the sensors and switches on engine click. If you do not hear the clicking (if you do and still no codes) then there is a connection problem with computer.
