X5 panoramic sunroof

as a repairer on sevral diffrent sunroofs i came across this junk called bmw x5 panaromic sunroof i have removed the roof and cleaned out and washed the entire cable housing and replalced all cables and guides that came in 3 kits for the sunroof after two weeks of hard ship i managed to work out that the rear glass would open but it has trouble closing through engaging between the main cable and the guide for the second glass so dont buy the kit on its own you must replace the complete cassete and the cables and guides .
the reason for malfunction is the when the sunroof is new its packed with greece and what happens when dust and dirt gets caught with greece turns in to mud and wear out the c section of the cassette where the cable runs in and when the c section is worn there is too much freeplay for the main cable to activate the rear glass so it gets jammed so in my mind if you cant spend the money for the new sunroof close it up and live it closed because its not practical in the real world first it was mecedes with this roof and bmw copied the idea to get some business out of the rich guys who can spend up to 6000 dollars +
