Question about 1998 Dodge Ram

AC/Heat Blower makes noise when fan is on

I have a 1998 Dodge Ram Van 3.9L. When I turn on the AC/Heat the blower makes noise. It sounds like when you put playing cards in the spokes of a bicycle. I played with the fan speeds and it just gets louder or softer as the speed is adjusted. Any ideas? Where is the blower located and how can I access it? Thanks, Nick

I have a 2005 mazda tribute. When it's turned on it sounds like a 2 seater airplane or a playing card in bicycle spokes.

Almost sounds like something is in it and it is located on passenger side under dash.

Low and medium speed fan for ac does not come on, while high speed fan works. 2000 1500 dodge van, had new condensor unit under dash replaced recently.

Blower motor resistor needs replacing. Follow wires from blower motor to connector, which should be the resistor. Usually in duct work, held in by 2 small screws.

2005 dodge 3500 ram / noise from a/c on passenger side. Very loud when fan is on full blast - not much ac blowing out.

Sounds like you either have something stuck in the blower motor (leaves, pine needles, etc?) or the blower motor bearings are worn out.

Sounds like a blower motor problem. Check for obstructions around the squirrel cage, or a broken cage.
