Question about 2004 Dodge Stratus
It is the lower hose not the top hose and it is a rather involved procedure that when I did it required removal of the alternator and the dipstick to gain access to the thermostat housing that is on the front of the engine below the alternator.

EASIER THEN THAT FOLLOW THE TOP HOSE OFF THE RADIATOR THE OTHER END IS CONNECTED TO THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING.THIS IS A EASY REPAIR YOU CAN DO IT.
