I think they are 3 sets.

One on left side of motor
One on right side of motor
One at passanger side door once you open it!

Never hook both cables up to the main power sources car. just the red is needed always ground the ground out to metal on the engine not the battery!

My first thought would be the power steering pump is out of fluid, or that your pump is faulty and seizing. A rack and pinion going bad can also cause this.

How to boost chevy lumina with battery under reservoir

There should be a post near the strut tower with a red plastic cover. The positive jumper cable goes there, and the negative can be hooked up anyplace there is a good ground to the engine or frame.

hi, it has side posts. You can use the other red post that connects to the fuse box...the cables split.. the 2 and 3 wires are hot and simply hook negative cable on an unpainted metal part

find a hot wire one with 12 volts in it all the time near the stereo and tap into it or figure out which is the hot wire on the plug to the old radio for that the key will be on for voltage or run a wire from the fuse box that's hot get a voltage test light at the parts store they're cheap and worth their weight in gold be sure not to hook radio up backwards that'll be the end furn radio off when installing

Engine cut out while driving. Would turn over, no start.

If it were mine, I would check to see that there is fuel to the engine and the ignition system is working.
