I hear a clicking noise when I try to activate my windshield wipers. They dont move at all.

The clicking should be relays related to the wiper motor. It would be more helpful to know what you are working on exactly but I'll try. Most wiper arms are directly connected to the wiper transmission. Sometimes the linkage on the transmission wears out and breaks. To see if this is the case. Grab one of the wiper arms and try to move it as if they were operating. If you decide to try this while the wipers are activated. Use care and keep your hands clear from pinch points. The wiper motor could suddenly activate while touching the wiper arms. If the wiper arms do not move freely than the problem could be related to the wiper motor, wiper control selector switch or related wiring and/or connectors. IDK your skill level or what you have for tools. depending on what you find from what I wrote earlier. You may want to remove the cowling, expose the wiper motor and check the connecter for continuity. Please let me know if there is anything else. Good luck.

could have broken off someof the plastic inside that help moves the wipers. look for small pieces of debris and replace that part

It is either time to replace the wiper motor or the arm has disengaged from the transmission. does the motor make any sounds when the wiper switch is activated? Also, does one work and not the other? If neither wiper moves or makes the usual noises i would suspect the switch inside the car. hope this helps and good luck.

if your hearing a clicking sound when pushing the horn button then it sounds like you need to replace the horn the diaphram is probably no good.if it was a bad connection you wouldn`t hear a clicking noise.the slow wipers sounds like it could be a poor ground on the wiper motor.you can run a separate ground wire to the wiper body and if the wipers work at a normal speed then that is all you have to do.if not then the power wire needs to be checked for battery voltage if its good then the problem is likely the wiper motor itself.the flickering interior light may be the light switch maybe moving just enough to make contact to allow power to the light.make sure the switch is into the off position and see what happens.

Fuse # 5 in your panel should be a 20amp fuse, which provides power to wipers. Not 100% sure, but would bet there is a relay in that circuit before motor. Try to feel/hear, exactly where clicking is coming from. It is usually easy to simply narrow the click noise area down, then set finger lightly on relays, and feel it when it clicks. Pull it out & have tested or replace.

Try tightening the bolt that holds the wiper in place. There is a cap over it at the base of the wiper where it attaches to the window pop that cap and you will see the it.
