I got a new battery for my Honda Civic LX 2006. When I tried to listen to the radio, it doesn't work. All it shows is "Enter C". I pressed buttons and it shows "Enter Code". It don't know what the code is, and I asked a lot of people and I still don't know what it is. Can someone please help me????!!!!!
Options you have:
1 - Check your owners manual. Sometimes the code is written in there. It is a security code that locks the radio and renders it useless unless you enter the code to thwart thieves.
2 - Call Honda at 1-800-999-1009 and go to option #5.
The representative will ask you for your VIN # and some personal info like phone #, address and radio serial # (press 1, 6 and "on" button on your radio at the same time, record 10 digit code). They then proceeded to have you get in your car to try different codes.
3. You can got to this site https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ to enter the vin - but you will have to prove you own the car.
Hope this helps!
Contact your nearest honda dealership. they can provide you with the anti theft code for your radio based on the your car's vin number. some dealers may charge a fee while some might give it to you for free.
