Question about 2000 Honda Civic
My car for the last 3 months has been cutting off while I'm driving no matter the speed. Once it cuts off. it crank back up sometimes on the first try but sometimes it takes 4 to 5 tries. The Honda dearlership states they can't do anything unless it cuts off in there presence, but it is hard to determine when it will cut off. Can you give me some suggesions of what it could be? It doesn't cut off daily but probably twice a week. The dealer states they can't hook it up to a machine because the check engine light is not on. This is dangerous because I never no when it will cut off. I have changed the battery, radiator, fuel filter, oil change. I'm confused. I need help
Try having the fuel pump examined. If Honda won't do it, have a "lube shop" do it. It could also be the distributor, spark plugs, or a problem with the fuel injection system.
