I just need to know where the crank sensor is on a 2001 Hyundia Elantra is so that I can replace it.

If you have a 2.0L 4cyl it is located on the drivers side front towards the middle of the block. It can be removed using a 10mm socket. If you have a 2.7L 6cyl it is located in about the same area only the starter has to be removed to gain access to the sensor.

What kind of anti-freeze goes into a 2001 Hyundia Elantra and a Hyundia 2005 Santa fe


i trust you are talking about the radiator(ive had people refering to their a/c system recharge as installing the anti freeze). this takes a standard good quality anti freeze/coolant mixed with distilled water.

if you stand on the passengerside looking at motor the sensor is located to the left of the timing belt cover near the top of the motor.hope this helps.

You really need a test drive by a tech. Any shop should be able to do that and give you a firm (written) estimate. It might not be a big deal. Shop around if you need a rebuild, If you need one, ask about their warranty. Believe it or not, a good reference for a tranny shop is the Used Car Manager at the Hyundai dealership. Go in to ask him, not over the phone, and be nice. You're asking for a favor after all. Many dealers do a lot of their work outside the store for reasons of cost. It all depends on the dealership. One will, one won't. Ask.

its real easy open trunk lid take rear sill off should just pop off then take trim panels each side then there are 4 bolts each side 10mm tkae bolts out firmly pull on tail lights they should come out and then reverse back

weeeeiiirrdddd. i have a 2001 hyundia elentra gls, and my third cylinder is misfiring as well. my car also revs constantly on idle and in between shifting. it will flutter between 2-3000 or it will just stay at 5000. i replaced my plugs and wires to no fix with my cylinder. autozone also told me that it sounds like my throttle position sensor needs replaced, but every part they try to sell me will not fit and they swear up and down this is the right part...
