Some cars have an inertial shut-off switch for the electric fuel pump. That switch is sensitive to impact and is designed to shut off the fuel pump in case of collision.
Locate the switch and reset it.
don't know where cut off switch is. it's a Hyundai TDI, 05 plate.
Maybe this will help:http://www.fixya.com/cars/t1654898-inert...

This is just a question so please hold of rating this until we figure out the problem.
It says that you replaced the ignition cylinder but did you replace the ignition switch? Since the turn signals only work with the key in the run position, if the ignition switch is bad that the turn signals will not work and the vehicle will not start.

Hi,
You need to have the cam angle and crankshaft position sensors checked. These are 2 parts which enable the ignition system to fire. If these are ok then check that the rotor in the distributor is turning when you crank the engine.
If it is not turning then you have a cambelt/chain or gear problem which you will need to repair before it will start again.
Hope this helped.
Thanks
Jason

Any codes? if the impact was hard enougth to triger a code in your airbag system it wont allow your fuel pump to run until problem fix. you did not specify if engine cranks over, or place of inpact.
