Problem for Chevrolet Cars

Generic problem for all Chevrolet 2500 Cars

1982 chevy blazer 6.2 diesel
was having alternator trouble, so i checked my fuses, and changed the alt. now when you turn the ignition switch nothing happens, doesn't start no radio or heater fan. batteries are new and charged.

recheck all of your connections,,,,then check your fusable links for being burned out.
replace as necessary
