Increase range for remote starter on 2007 grand prix

My 2007 grandprix remote start only seems to work at a distance of 10 feet or less, is there any way to increase the range?

Try changing the battery in the key fog. If that doesn't work you can try finding an aftermarket key fog with a greater range. It is probably just default range.

2007 gmc yukon denali wont unlock w/ keyfob

Check the buttons.. I have an 06 Grand Prix with the Remote starter on the top and it seems that the conductor on the buttons worn out.. Take the keyfob apart, pull the rubber buttons off the chip, lick your finger and touch the place where the unlock (right side of the fob) would be. That should unlock your doors. I just did it with mine. I would just buy another fob on ebay and change the buttons out.. Hope this works

After market tint interference with remote start

The remote start is on a radio signal, tinted glass cannot interfere with that.
Try changing the battery on the key.

Remote start will work intermittently. have tried from 10 feet to 50 feet with same results. won't start. went to dealer they stated its because the range is not too high for the factory installed system....

Have you changed the battery in the remote?

Do so, then re-introduce the remote to the remote start system following the manufacturer's instructions, and the problem should be solved.

2007 grand pri car only runs 10 minutes when remote start is used

No, but you can restart the vehicle remotely a second time if it doesn't have sufficient time to warm/cool properly. After that, you must start the vehicle manually
