03 sorento will only start once a day usually morning

When it won't start you need to find out what's missing , Spark , fuel pressure , an then go from there . If no spark is it a coil , ignition module , crankshaft position sensor , the PCM/ECM - engine computer . If the fuel system is the problem is the B+ voltage to the fuel pump ? Is there a fuel pump relay that supplies B+ voltage to the fuel pump , is the PCM/ECM turning on the fuel pump . The simptoms you provide make's me think a sensor is going bad , shorting out when hot or vehicle is up to temp.

360 just shutting off.

Check the fuel pressure and make sure its within the specs it could be a weak fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter.

I have a 1997 chevy suburban we were out for a drive one day and it did this poot poot poot and died we had just went for gas its been about a month and a half and we have changed the electronic ignition...

Hello waddle, we need to confirm that it has spark at the spark plugs. After that it needs to have fuel pressure. The 3 "poots" sound like it ran out of gas....If you can hear the electric pump come on, and the fuel filter is clean, you should have pressure at the fuel rail on the engine. If the pump does not come on, and the fuse ( ECM B fuse powers the pump) & relay are ok, & you have voltage at the pump (inside of tank) then the pump needs to be replaced...
I hope this helps, reply back if further assistance is needed.

My 1994 park ave, sometimes it starts, sometimes it wont, it does not matter if is is hot or cold, when it is running it runs smooth like there's nothing wrong. I replaced most of the fuel system, spark...

You have three choices. First, check the spark and coil system to ensure you are getting a spark. Pull off a plug wire from the coil pack and crank. Have someone watch to see sparks snapping off the coil pack. If you don't have any replace the control module under the coil packs.

Second, you may not be getting enough fuel pressure. Put a gauge on the fuel pressure test port. You may have a bad oil pressure sensor, located down above the oil filter. Check that oil pressure sender and make sure the connector is pushed in. The power to the fuel pump runs through the oil sender. If the engine starts and oil pressure doesn't come up quickly, the computer will shut off the fuel pump. Check this and you can also manually engage the fuel pump from the relay block down by the passenger feet.

Third choice, and it's a long shot, check the harmonic balancer and the crank position sensor. If the sensor is bad, the computer has no idea when to fire the spark plugs. A magnet is on the harmonic balancer and flys by a sensor to induce a voltage in the coil and tell the computer what position the crank is in.

You also may have a bad computer.

You can figure it out.

Engine cranks but wont start

Usually if no rpm signal, the vehicle won't start. Engine cranking, did you check for spark at the spark plugs? The fuel pressure you listed may have been the initial prime. It sounds like no injector pulse. The rpm signal comes from crank sensor. If your missing rpm signal, may thought is the crank sensor.

Coils and wires are the most likely culprits as they never get replaced hardly ever. You cant really test a coil, you can check for resistance on the plug wires but that doesnt tell you if the insulation is bad on them.

Replaced fuel pump & still car wont start on 97 olds 88

The fuel pump most likely is not the problem, replace the crankshaft sensor,it tells the computer to pulse the injectors, and the spark.

My Honda Accord will crank but it wont start

check for spark at the spark plug wire, if theres no spark then id say the distrubutor is no good, replace disturbutor and car should run, also if coil is sperate from dist, then try a coil first, if its in dist, then replace complete unit. if you have spark at the plug then check for fuel preasure. hope this helps.

The fuel pump pumps but on start up it dies

Flel regulator will only affect max fuel pressure only will not cause it to not start. try replacing fuel filter first if still does not get fuel then you need to see if it is fuel related or if you have a spark at the spark plugs, pull off a spark plug boot and put screw driver in it hold 1/4 inch away from bare metal and crank engine if you get a spark then it's fuel relateed if no fuel it can be the crank shaft sensor or the cam shaft sensor. let me know if it has fire.
