Question about 2000 Ford Focus
My mother-in-laws timing belt went out in her 2000 Ford Escort. We are going to replace it ourselves. I am attempting to take off the cover and can not reach the bottom screw. Have tried everything including taking off the right pass. wheel. Anyone have any ideas?
You cannot do this job unless you have quite a bit of experence, firstly the engine mount has to be removed ,also the gearwheels DO NOT HAVE WOODRUFF KEYS ,their is no timing marks on the gearwheels and sure as granny has no teeth the valves have clouted the pistons and i would imaging you need at least 4 valves and a minimum of one piston.---Do you know how to remove the cylinder head??
