Check the wiring coming through the tail gate, the wiring breaks and grounds out , check wiring, some wiring you can see if you open the door and look for the rubber boot containing wiring, check all wires, you will find bad broken wires, caution have checked could cause lights to go out and not work or cause a electrical fire.

hi cjryan 9876 when you look on the outside of the lens there are 2 philips head screws & if open your tail gate there are another 2 philips head screws in there as well one of which is located through the locking tab for the tailgate once you undo these the tail light should fall out & then to get the tail light out of the socket give it a quarter turn anti clock wise

SOURCE: I am looking for a wiring diagram for a 2004 Isuzu

there could be a problem with the linkage itself, when it does not come out of park there is a reason, when you force it, that is when you create bad problems for yourself. it could be something as simple as the brake lamp switch located directly on the brake pedal arm.

The upper intake gaskets may be leaking. They are made of plastic and metal and will leak air. Do not remove the cover on very top of manifold when changing.

The ABS light in my 2004 Isuzu Rodeo (3.5) has been on for an extended period of time. My car cuts off randomly when the brakes are applied. Suggestions?

Your ABS sensor/s... you have to check them all...Sometimes the sensor outer wire gets worn,an the wires are exposed on the inside, now if this has happened...the wires will short out, when they touch the metal frame of the vehicle, which will cause the vehicle to cut off... However also make sure you dont have any vacuum leaks from your brake booster... A big loss in vacuum will also have the vehicle to loss power....Gooduck...

The brake light is on and I can hear grinding when I stop. Does the brake light come on in this model because the brakes need attention or for some other problem

If you hear grinding when you apply the brakes then you definitely need to replace your brake pads and possibly your rotors.....also check your brake fluid level. Good luck
