Where is the battery located in the 2007 XL-7

It's under the hood, right next to the window washer reservoir. To get to it you need to slide the thing on top about an inch towards the steering wheel to release it and get it out of the way. Now, if you look down between the battery cover and the fuse box you'll see two long tabs pointing up towards you. Sqeeze them both and pull up and that'll release the battery cover. When reinstalling, be sure to insert the two lugs into their repective holes on the headlight side of the battery cover.

Location of ECM

on the 3.6L
infront of left strut, and fuse box is PCM.
sits right on top of the BATTERY box.

under the hood is the battery for starting car.
lost you owners manual , in the glove box?
get one, lots of warnings and DO DO there, i say read them all .

Check the start solenoid, starter side, when you turn the key... The battery side will always be hot, the starter side should be hot when you turn the key.

I had my oil changed in my 2007 Suzuki XL-7. The technician tried repeatedly to reset the oil life monitor to no avail. It will simply flash the same number as it appears before the button is pushed. Any...

After car sits and all oil drains into oil pan, then disconnect negative battery for 10 minutes and reconnect. Otherwise if resetting doesn't help turn the light off, the sensor may be faulty and need to be replaced
