Question about 1999 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
It will restart after some time (anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes).
I tried to boost the octane thinking that it was bad gas with too much ethenol, and I changed the fuel filter, but still have the same problem.
Could be the trottle body too!

Sound like it may be the crank angle sensor at the back on the engine ,try to cool it down with water when it fails and restart if this works replace the sensor
