99 malibu not blowing heat or making noise

It's very cold right now, -15 with wind chill. No heat in car. Any idea what you think it might be?

Since you did not mention it, I'll assume the blower is blowing? Preliminary checks to system are: Make sure coolant level is full and has the proper antifreeze mix (heater core can freeze up pretty quick)
If you have a heater control valve make sure it's working. Make sure that there is flow through heater core. one hose going to it should be really hot, the exit hose should be slightly less hot but not cold. Make sure that the plenum door inside the car in the heater box is moving when you change setting from a/c to heat. In checking these things, it's likely you will find the problem or a good clue to it's origin.
good luck

1999 Lincoln Continental heater blows cold air while driving

Sounds like your thermostat may be stuck open. When the wind moves in front of your car, it chills the Radiator and drops the temperature. All the other settings for Heat, like ductwork and waterflow are in the same positions sitting as moving.

Why did the heat and a/c stop working in my 2001 chevy malibu

I am having the same issue. Just replaced the two hoses at the top of the recover tank (possible leak). While running at a stand still, the inside air was only blowing out cold. Let the car run for about 15 minutes to check for signs of leak and while we found none, inside heat never came on.
With in 15 seconds of pulling out of the garage, the heat decided to work

My 99 malibu continues to overheat. We have changed the head gaskets, replaced the theromostat and waterpump and the "air flow sensor"(connected to airfilter housing). Any ideas as to why the...

I would certainly give attention to the radiator.
I am assuming that the engine overheated and the heads warped causing the head gaskets to "blow".

I would consider inveting in a new radiator.

My 2004 malibu does not blow hot air when in the heating position. the blower works and only blows cold air.thermostat seems fine.

What makes you think the thermostat is fine? First thing I would check is the level of your antifreeze to see if it's up to the correct level. If it is then thermostat is my next culprit and if it is in fact OK then it might be the water pump or plugged up heater core.

Can you bleed the air from the power steering system on a 99 malibu? The unit was making a lot of noise so I changed it with one I pulled at a junkyard. After starting the car and turning the steering...

yes you can, make sure fluid in power steering is full. jack up car and move steering from left to right, til it hits wheel stops. keep checking fluid level. when bleeding air from system, raise idle to about 1500 rpms. then turn wheel left to right. after done recheck fluid level.
