I would chk. break light switch. should be under dash above break pedel arm. emergency flashers will be on its own fuse, turn signals should have own fuse. as far as interior lights surging that could be ground or alt. chk. battery cables make sure clean and tight. not good idea unhooking bat. cable when running, one spark or surge to computer could burn up computer. besides that realy won't tell you anything if a diod is bad in alt. it may not show up until you tax the system. its best to take it someware like autozone, or any major auto parts store and have it chk.

My 2005 matrix keeps blowing 15amp rear running light fuse every time light get turned on all other lights work fine.whats causing this?

fuses blow because of dead shorts or excess current draw
to blow a 15 amp fuse indicates a dead short
by disconnecting the rear lights , the problem is in something else you have replaced
could be a problem in the head light wiring

I have a 2000 saturn ls sedan. My headlights are no longer working. All other lights are functioning fine. Tail lights, brake lights, turn signals.....all fine. Its just that when I turn my headlights on...

it is most likely a blown fuse, the fuse box is usually under the hood also check the low beam relay,it may also be in the fuse box,if you have a test light see if there is any power to the low beam at the bulbs,if they are H4 bulbs it is the center terminal, also check for any loose wires or connector plugs,,,,,hope this helps......cheers
