Are you sure this is a US spec car or was it a canadian car that the dash is in km instead of miles. Another posibility is that the instrument cluster has been replaced with one out of another car. Newer clusters must be replaced with new units and programed for that particular vehicle. Hope this helps.

Showed originally 226,335 miles. overnite when turned on, odometer now has reset showing T_ _86.6 miles.

Most newer trucks and suv's have a digital odometer. the miles odometer and trip odometer are combinded. By pressing the little button that patrudes from the instument cluster will show you the orignal 226,335 miles. When you press and hold the button while the T__86.6 is displayed will reset the trip odometer. Some people use the trip odometer to monitor times between oil changes and tire rotations.

2004 silverado has p0446 evap code and very low idle at stop. shows low volts as well. My question tho is why does my odometer read 16 and its telling me im getting 0.1 mpg and all the other readings are...

I had the problem with my 04 silverado odometer malfunction. There was a recall for this model and year. Took it to the dealer had it fixed for free, you need a new odometer replaced but it only covers warany for 7yrs or 75K miles then its prorated.

Fuel Filter for Sport Trac

If the car is running good no engine problems or poor gas mileage I wouldn't worry about it. This is done as preventive maintenance. Every tune-up parts have replacement recommended periods. Ignition components, all filters and lubricants should all be replaced the most every six moths depending on how much you drive. Its all common sense if you check your oil and its black its time to change it. If your brakes are screeching same thing and if it been six month probably well over 15,000 miles since you replaced the fuel filter it'll be a good idea to change it.

2008 Dodge Avenger SXT Windsheild Wipers,Turn Signals, headlights

If your car is under 36000 miles take it to your dealer and have it fixed under your warrenty. All of your interior electrical systems are controled by computors and sometime not a simple repair ! The dealer has the tools to monitor different switch states to aid in isolating the problem. Just guessing if its a switch or a computor or a wiring issue can get very costly.
