Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate your transfer.
I would doubt fuel filter, and, changing the fuel filter on that particular car may be speculation, and the possibilities of the Client also having to change the fuel line going to the filter are very good. Fuel filters are usually the last thing I would try...the metals are dis-similar, and the filter removal destroys the threads on the line from the tank.

Thanks again, perhaps we both can work together to help that Client.

2010 corolla key stuck in ignition

It can be faulty ignition lock cylinder.I suggest to wiggle the steering wheel a bit and see if the key gets released out.If that is not helping then first turn steering wheel to right and try removing the key,or next turn steering wheel to left and see if you can remove the key.
Spray wd-40 in the ignition key hole and let it remain there for few minutes, after that once again try to remove the key and see if that helps.
But if that is not helping then ignition lock cylinder has to be removed out and key has to be manually removed.

I have a 1995 Toyota corolla with 149k miles on a 2.2l 4 cylinder fuel injected motor. The motor makes a sound like that of a metal spoon dropped down a garbage disposal. The motor still has a good oil...

As far as I know, Toyota Corollas have an overhead cam engine. Therefore it has no pushrods.
I'd say by how you describe it, that you have a bad bendix in the starter motor and it is making the grinding noise against the teeth on the flywheel.
