Question about 1999 Ford Explorer
I have a 99 ford explorer sport, problems with no radio display or lighter and back winsheild wiper don't work, could it be a fuse. have no owners manuel. thanks tammy
Most fuse panels have a layout, not this one. This is in your owners manual if you have it. Search for a owners manual copy, or book. I made a copy of the layout and taped it on the door of the fuse panel. Makes looking for fuses much easier.
The back wiper should look like a solid arm, but the part that hooks on the vehicle is really under a plastic "cap". Grab the plastic cover near the base where it is connected to car, and gently pry off. It snaps on and off. The bolt is then easily accessible.

The would be the most comun ploblem. Lock for the fuse box. When you find it there shoud be a diagam that tell you where the fuse is located, if not you can upll out the fuses one at a time untill yuo find the burn one. make sure to get the fuses in the same spot and all the way in.
