Question about 1993 Mazda MX-6
I have a 1993 Maxda Mx-6 (v6 engine, automatic transmission) The headlights work, the turn signals work, brake lights work and the interior lights work. However, the tail lights don't work, the dash lights don't work, and the little lights on the air conditioner/heating panel thing don't work either. I don't think the radio works (it doesn't have one, but i've tested it with one of those power testing red and black wired things) but it's not the fuse. I've checked the bulbs and the fuse multiple times, but i just can't figure this thing out! please help!
Here's a suggestion. It'll require you to pull some panels off of the inside of your car, but the results will be well worth it in the end. You're going to have to check the wiring to each individual item on your glitch list and see if there are any crushed or severed wires. I had a problem similar to this when I installed aftermarket lights on an older car. It drove me nuts!
Next, you may want to check the relays, not the fuses. I'd be willing to bet your problem is within the relays. If not, then the first suggestion sounds like your likely answer. Good luck, and let me know how it turns out!
