Most mirror glasses pop off. be careful when prying it off. if mirror is removable look inside and you can see if the painted portion is removable again most mirrors are removable

I have an 05 Hyundai Tiburon GT and the top side mirror housing is loose, but the whole housing is attatched to the door of my car. How can I tighten the top housing that holds the mirror?

Each Tiburon has an interior triangle cover (some with tweeter speakers in them), They are easily popped of using a small screw driver so you can access/see the three 10mm nuts holding the outside mirror to the door. When you inspect the fasteners (10mm nuts), check to see if each is tight (not loose). You may find that the one at the top could be broken.... the only solution then is replace the mirror (it'll probably have to be painted if you do replace it).

How to replace the driver side mirror on Camry 96

if just the mirror pop it in. use a little grease on the slots so it slips in. if replacing whole mirror assembly take off the small triangular plastic inside the door. pull from top edge it should pop out. take off 3 nuts. if the plug for the mirror is inside the door panel then you have to remove the whole door panel.

I need to replace my driver side mirror, cause broke

For paint, take your paint code off the inside lip of your dirver side door. Take the number to your local autoparts store, and get the matching paints (unless you need a custom job as in metallic flake). You'll need a clear coat as well as your base.e0fde83.jpg

02 Lincoln Driver Side Mirror Loose, How To Tighten

There is a soft metal backing on the mirror mount that is bent out of shape - in order to get it right you must remove the door panel. Once the door panel is off you will be able to see the three mounting bolts for the mirror - remove them, once removed you will be able to take it off to straiten the metal

Replace side mirror

you can find these on ebay very cheap, remove caps on interior, should just pop off, unbolt the mirror and pop off, make sure you undo the clip on for the cord first so you dont have the mirror dangling and scratch the paint.

INside temp guage reads at 30-40 degrees when it is about 95 here. The air conditioning blows only lukewarm air and I am wondering if these 2 things are connected.

Had this same problem with my car, a 2001 S60 T5. It turned out to be the temperature sensors mounted beneath the exterior mirrors -- you'll see a nipple under each mirror (and you can pop it out with a screwdriver).

One of these external sensors (forgot which side) is used by the engine management system. The other one is used for the inside temp gauge.

I found that one of them (I think the one under the passenger sie mirror, but don't quote me) had popped out, leading to my weird temp readings on the dashboard gauge. So I just popped the sensor back into the bottom of the mirror, and that solved the problem. Check both mirrors, though. If the sensors seem fine, maybe pop them out and then back in...and see if that works.

If that doesn't solve your problem, then you might have to replace the appropriate temp sensor (or worst case, the entire exterior mirror). Good luck!
