Would my 2003 CIVIC have been rust proofed from HONDA?

I WANT TO KNOW IF THE CAR REQUIRES RUST PROOFING NOW, 2009, AND IF IT HAD BEEN RUST PROOFED FROM HONDA.

Honda generally does put a VERY LIGHT coat of rust protectant on the under carrage and all componets housed inside the frame.
Whether or not you need to apply anpother coat really depends on where you live, Texas or Seattle, perhaps Northern BC (Canada) ?
However it really doesn't hurt to have a shop put another coat on for you .
But make sure you don't get hosed on the price.
I should cost about 1/2 price of whatever the shops labor rate per hour.

Don't say where you live and what conditions are like-- I wouldn't  bother-- Honda's and other modern cars don't benefit from rustproofing. Not worth it.

I have a 2009 dodge journey sxt , I have the car rust proofed every year , I cannot figure out whre the rust stains are coming from in my driveway

Not actually rust. You have a leak in the radiator or one of the hoses, and the coolant system is full of rusty water.

Your rust treatment coats metal with wax to stop the metal rusting.

When you park your car put a sheet of cardboard for a large box underneath the part of the car where the rust stain is. Hold it down with 4 bricks or stones. Next day, look underneath and see where the spot is? Open the hood and see from above. I am pretty sure I am right.

Of course the other possibility is metal in your driveway concrete and the rust is coming outwards.

CLR will remove the marks.

I have a 93 honda del sol and water is getting into bottom of car but i can't find it. i can hear it swissing whenever i turn. i'm afraid it will rust.

The water may be getting in to the car through a damaged, or worn piece of weather stripping around the doors, trunk lid, the front windshield or rear window. Has the car be in an accident recently? Is there rust around the front windshield, or rear glass? These issues can allow water to get into the vehicle.

How to change the headlight on passenger side of honda civic 2003

Well, forgive the generic response.. I have done loads of Honda... but not a 2003 Civic...So, here we go..

Open hood. Locate top headline tab. Remove screw that secures tab.
Next, locate nut on backside of headlight assembly - remove it (it should be a round fastener that has a hex nut top.
Headlight should pull away from chassis.
Connecting cable has a lock tab that must be pressed. If you just pull out on the cable assembly - a large, round (2.5 to 3 inches in diameter) water proofing shroud will come out of the headlight assembly - bulb and all. You will still need to remove the cable connector from this assembly.

Install a new headlight assembly in the reverse manner.

VW Golf 5 FSI 2.0 - Misfires or will not start at all when any moisture gets near the coils or injectors. Even when taking care not to use a pressure hose near the engine.

A quick effective inexpensive fix would be to spray your electrical system with a can of Rust Check. While it is a rust proofing it is also waterproof. If you get the stuff in the green can, it is thicker and doesn't wear off near as quick. Hope thishelps.

How do I replace the right front fender on my 2000 VW Beetle? It's cracked and I found a replacement. I know that the front part of the car needs to come off first, then the fender.

Need to remove the inside wheel liner to reveal all 13mm securing bolts. The front bumper needs to be the first part removed. It easy so don't fear easily. TIP: If you have a pressure washer, wash down the areas clean with simple green, it would be less trauma working on it. I do that even if it's a simple oil change, less cosmolyn (rust proofing) to deal with.

What is the engine oil capacity of the Fiat Strada 1.7td (2005)?

4 litres i think. If you unsure just drain the sump pan. Refit the plug and pour it in 1ltr at a time. go steady tho coz the strada is slow filling pour it too fast and you end up rust proofing your garage floor. LOL
