Yes it's a relatively easy fix.
First you'll need to remove the broken straps then put the tank back in place and support it with some jack stands(check the wires and fuel lines before you put the tank in place) Now start the car and check for leaks. If it won't start make sure the tank level and that it has fuel in it. If that's ok then you'll need to do some more checking with the wiring for the fuel pump. Now you will want to install the new straps and remove your jack stands.
Hope this helps!

there are usually a bolt on one end of the strap and a hook mechanism on the other to remove the old ones remove the bolt and un hook the other........repeat this procedure on thwe other. To re-install hook the one end into the hook mechanism and run the strap under the tank and install the bolt.......repeat this procedure for the remaining strap.
Good luck with your problem and I hope this helps you.....If you have and other questions or need clarification don't hesitate to enter a comment here I'll be glad to assist you!

Going to put a new fuel pump on a 1992 buick road master cant get the gas out of tank so we can drop it

The fuel line fittings and the tank straps are probably rusted at the threaded bolt and nut. Have some penetrating oil spray onto them and let it sit over night. Use an impact wrench to remove the two nuts. Next remove the fuel lines and drop the tank out. Having an empty tank is good also to lighten the weight

I need to change my fuel filter on my 1996 buick roadmaster

Well the good news is is that this is a very easy repair that will take only a few minutes. The fuel filter is located under the car beneath the driver side rear door. You don't need any special tools. I beleive that there are two bolts that hold the filter and that the lines are held on by clamps. I would have a small bucket handy as a little gas will spill out when you take the lines off. write back and tell how it goes.
