Feels like the emergency brake is on (it's not). Intermitent check engine light otherwise seems fine. Thought clutch was slipping, but goes up grades with no problem.

get all 4 wheels in the ground if you can. make sure the car is in neutral and see if you can spin all 4 of the wheels easily. sounds to me like your breaks might be sticking on one or more wheel. if you cant spin a wheel freely then that would be your problem.
