Question about 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
When I start the van the radio is fine. When I use "seek" or "pre-selected", or "manual select" of a station, the radio goes dead and will not respond to any of the above adjustments. If I turn the van off and wait a few minutes ...start the van again the radio works on what ever station its on. I have disconected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected it..... no change! Any Ideas???
Does it have RADIO Controls on Steering Wheel? If so does the Air bag light EVER come on While Driving down the road. If no to these Questions.
I dont like at all being the Bearer of BAD news
I am Not Exactly A "RADIO" Expert But I have seen this Before and My Repair for it was Replacement. It is My Thought and Thery that somehow the MEMORY Cuircit gets Burned out adn in turn the On Off Cuircit is also Effected by this, Hoping this is of Good Help to you., RejakWilson

There is a radio option to recalibrate your touch screen. Please press the following three hard keys simultaneously RADIO/MEDIA, SEEK UP, NAV (AUDIO on REN). Once you begin to recalibrate the touch screen you must finish. Audio confirmation prompts are provided for each of the three points of calibration, one beep for the first, two for the second and three for the third. The calibration needs to be precise as possible and a PDA stylus would be recommended. The MyGIG radio requires the user to repress each calibration point to confirm the calibration process. A green crosshair indicates proper calibration. You must not start with the "+" but with the "+1", then goto "+2" and last to "+". Repeat this until all crosses are green and exit with pushing the menue or any other key. Done
