Did you not test the battery first?

You don't jump a dead battery, you charge it,
and then have it tested

Why am I unable to boost start my car?

The usual reason why we boost start a car is because the car battery is getting weak and it cannot provide sufficient power anymore to run things. It will need an extra help like a booster battery. But sometimes the host battery was so down in energy that it tends to drain the boost battry fast enough and a little will be left to provide your needed start. If the host battery is just weak (not yet bad cell condition) just give it sometime for the booster to resuscitate the host battery, before you start cranking. Off course, we cannot just rule out the cables and the starter motor, the fusibles, terminals, and the charged state of the booster battery itself. ?

84 corvette wont start without battery boost.... brand new battery installed & no change , the radio, horn , etc is good the car just wont start with a boost

It might be the starter, if it gets too much use the armature might be too weak and need extra Amps to get it to work right.

Gauge for turbo not working and drives kind of weak

the wastegate could be stuck open, and its not building boost, its more likely the gauge is inoperative. if you had no boost that truck wont even get up to 50mph.

1997 bravada wont start

Hook fuel pressure gauge up to port near firewall. A battery charger sometimes boosts the vehicle voltage just enough to engage weak fuel pump. Should show 50-60 lbs all the time while cranking when not starting on battery.

Lights up when turned on,but repeated clicking when you try to start it

dose it start when you get a boost off, and if it dose you need to check your battery connectors they may need replacing, and if thats not the problem make sure that your alternator is charging your battery and if non of these are the problem you need a starter.

Won't Start Without Boosting

I think you need to have the battery tested, most parts store will do this for nothing, the charging system needs the battery in the circuit to work correctly, also a shorted cell in the battery will cause high charging voltages.
