Question about 1993 Saturn SL2
My alternator blew on my 2001 pt cruiser. I dropped my ball joint, removed tie rod took out my drive axel then removed alternator. Now I re installed everything but the car starts right up runs great for 2 seconds then dies. I reinspected everything all power wires were good and all vacuum lines were on nothing out of the ordinary then I removed the dust cover off the top of my 2.4 chrysler pt cruiser engine and the map sensor was snapped off I must have hit it with my elbow removing top alternator bolt from the top. My problem is when I start the car the engine light is on then car dies after 2 or 3 seconds. The car will start right back up but stall again. The car is charging great now all other engine parts look ok. I was wondering will the car stall because of the map sensor broke off if so will the computer reset itself after I reinstall another one.
I have a 1993 saturn sl2 cranks over fine ,is in proper time, good compresion, fuel to the fuel rail, wants to run when I spray startin fluid in it.
injectors have no signal no injection can a map sensor be the problem?
It sound like the fuel pump or fule filter???? You and pull positive post off battery for a minute and put back on. this will reset computer.
