Question about 2005 Nissan Sentra
I was wondering if changing my spark plugs would turn off the check engine light and stop the puttering of my car when i'm at a stop.
It may not turn off the check engine light, sometimes those have to be reset. The issue of the car sputtering could have many causes. I would first check to see if you have loose plug wires or cracked wires. Check for cracks by putting the car in a dark area and looking at the engine while it runs. If you see sparks coming from the wires, it's time for a change. If that cures it, stop there. If not, move on to the plugs and check them out.
