Did you bleed the brakes and get the air out of the lines and also if you have shoes on the back did you put the little shoe in the front and the largest in the back? and if you replaced the wheel cylinder or had any lines opened you have to bleed the brakes

Why my 2007 police crown Vic won't shift out of

All 2000 and up vehicles utilize a Solenoid which is powered by depressing the Brake Pedal to allow the Shift Lever to be move from Park to any other position. Is the Shift Lever located on the Steering Column or the Floor? In either case typically the Solenoids used by Ford do occasionally go bad. I highly recommend having a certified technician replace the solenoid.

1998 honda civic lx drivers side rear emergency brake cable spring is very loose

  1. Remove the screw covers, screws and parking brake trim cover.
  2. Turn the adjuster as needed to attain the proper adjustment.

Make sure the brakes do not drag when the parking brake lever is released.
  1. Reinstall the trim cover.
  2. Depress the pedal 2 notches.
  3. Tighten the adjusting nut at the pedal assembly until the rear brakes just begin to drag when rotated.
  4. Release the parking brake lever and check that the wheels do not drag when turned. The parking brake should engage in 3-5 notches when a force of 66 lbs. (294 Nm) is applied to the parking brake pedal.
  5. Lower the vehicle

Oil leak in driver side rear wheel well for 2005 crown vic. drips down over top of tire and puddles under it.

Hi Don:
Have you checked to see if it's brake fluid?
Is it possible that the slave cylinder is leaking and the fluid is coming ot from the brakes? I can't think of any oil source in that area.

Brakes need to bled no pedal

fill master cylinder with fluid, start engine, pump brakes till it got some resistance, have a helper open the bleeder valve at the rear passenger side first while the pedal is to the floor. repaet 4-5 times or until the pedal gets hard and no air coming out. do this to the other wheels one after the other. 1 rear passenger, 2 rear driver, 3 front passenger, 4 front driver. repeat as needed

Emergency brake locked after pull release handle

handbrake jammed on somewhere ,could be front cable ,because the rear cable is pulled by the compensator so if it was the rear one then i would expect only one cable siezed and that is normally the kerbside one.
