My 1999 plymouth voyager is slow to shift. and i put it in D and give it gas and my rpm's go up but it wont move forawrd

I had same problem once. Mine was solved by getting two computer chips for the tranny which cost about $60 each. Much better than spending the money to replace the whole transmission if you dont have to.

We don't know if it's the sensors or the tranny on the van that is going it's driveable but really slowly other wise if we get it on the high way we can hear the rmp's high so we slow it...

Slow Leak in Water Pump-1999 Plymouth Voyager


What's probably happening is the weep hole on the water pump is leaking water. The weep hole is a warning sign that the water pump needs replaced. You don't have any heat because the impeller in the water pump is no longer circulating water.

Have the transmission computer scanned for codes. This trans is completely electroniclly shifted.
