Windshield wipers won't work. Ford 2002 ZX2

Replaced the motor x2 thinking the motor was bad but it keeps blowing the fuse. Also, had problems with it not shifting out of park and had to replace the brake switch/fuse and it works today, but the windshield wipers still do not. Any advice?

I have a 96 vw cabrio the wipers quit when i had a large amount of snow on car. Now they keep blowing fuse and i have removed the motor and can not get it too turn . Should it turn with no power too it? The fuse does not blow when the motor is unpluged. Is the motor shot? Thanks any help would be great

The actual assembly arm that you turn on your windshield wiper (that says all of the controls on it) was bad and was causing the fuses to blow and burning up the motor. It was replaced and it works now as well as the a/c and heat which was not working before this fix.

I have 2002 ford escape and the windshield wipers wont work what could be the problem

Fuses, disconnected power, or a bad wiper motor - check the connections on the wiper motor - make sure wires are not worn and frayed so there is a good solid connection - check you fuse block the fuses should be identified in the manual or on the fuse panel door. If neither of those are the issue go to AutoZone and ask for current check on the wiper motor

Ihave a 2003 Ford Explorer & the windshield wipers won't stop working, with the switch turned off or even removed. The only way to stop them is to remove the battery cable.

Sounds like the park switch in the wiper motor is bad. Some manufacturers allwo you to change the circuit board seperately from the motor, sometimes they have to be changed as a unit

Windshield wiper fuse keeps blowing

Since you Disconnect the motor also renewed the switch and is still blowing the fuse ,it is obvious that you have either broken wire between the switch and the motor. Try to test the failure by means of a tester circuit. Good Luck.

New coolant fan and new control module but coolant fan does not work on my 2002 ford escort zx2

Try checking the fuse box under the hood. It should have a fuse marked cooling fan or cooling system. If the car does start, that means the computer isn't out, but maybe there is a bad relay by the fan or in the circuit or even the temp sensor may be bad. The fan won't run until the temp is high enough; usually by the time the thermostat opens.

no keeps blowing fuses, you go to wiring diagrams

Why would the windshield wipers blow a fuse when you turn them on 2001 ford explorer

you may have a bad wiper motor or the switch is bad, the way to find out is to unplug the connector to wipermotor and turn the switch on, if the fuse blows then its the switch if the fuse doesnt blow then you have a bad wipermotor.
