Question about 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora
THE LANE I WAS IN WAS ENDING, ACCELERATED REALLY FAST, PULLED INTO A PARK, THEN THE CAR SEEMED TO BE UNABLE TO CATCH THE GEARS WHEN I TRIED TO BACK UP LESS THAN 2 MIN.AFTER I TOOK OFF FAST. NOW SOMETIMES IT WILL CATCH THE GEARS IN REVERSE AND DRIVE, BUT MAYBE ONE IN TEN TRIES. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
If this has an automatic transmission check the fluid to see if it is low of burnt. Fill if necessary. If not unfortunately you need to take to a transmission shop so it has a warranty when repaired.
