Electrical blinks off momentarily

2005 Chrysler Town and Country. The instrument panel, radio, head and tail lights all blink off for just an instant. It does it sitting still but more often when moving. Just started it this morning. It's also -4 degrees today.

I found the trouble. It was the connector from the battery to the bottom of the IPM. It was corroded and cleaning it took care of the trouble. Turns out I had several corroded connectors. I had trouble with the starter after this and found the connector from the IPM to starter was also in need of cleaning. Everything back up and running now. Thanks for the help.

I have the same problem with the added bonus of the horn going off randomly. I will look at the electrical connections.

My problem is dash lights flash, radio goes on and off erratically, airbags make noise, headlights flash and flicker, instrument dials spin out of control and sometimes car will not start at all. I have had almost every part replaced from battery, computer , starter, ignition fuse, you name it and I still have this problem. What do you think? Thanks.

Why did my radio and accessory lights go out on my 2001 Chrysler town and country?

On GM vehicles, the dash and accessory lights go out when there is a blown fuse on the tail lights. This design was to get your attention that your driving at night with no tail lights. Most tail light problems are from connecting trailer lights wrong or shorted bulbs/ sockets. This might not apply to Chrysler, but it's something to check.

Look for a bad ground...if you have a shop manual or sometimes the dealership will print you off that page, look for the major ground going to those devices.

I'm having the same problem, although I didn't get the 3 left 3 right thing until I reinstalled the dvd changer to see if it worked. The Haynes manual for Chrysler Voyager & Town & Country 2003-2006 has the steps you'll need to remove it. Just refer to page 11-18, 11-19 for removing the instrument panel, then page 12-9 for 'radio' removal. If you can't get the manual let me know.
