2003 Toyota Echo Power Surge When Airconditioner is on

Air conditioner compressors take up to 5 hp to run that is why when to unit cuts in the engfine revs drop until the computer compensates for the rev drop Can be as much as 700 rpm. conversly when the compressor disengages the engine will over rev until the computer compensates. If you didn't have a problem before but do now it is possible that too much gas was put in the a/c system meaning the compressor is almost locking uo. Have the system pressure rechecked

Renault megane 2004 1.9dci aircon switch does not switch on

I would have gauges hooked up and see if the system has a charge in it, low charge will keep the compressor from running because the system oil is circulated with the refrigerant. If it low you have a leak and that must be addressed before recharging.

1999 vw beetle, a/c suddenly stopped working, fan blows and light comes on, but compressor doesn't

Have the aircon gas checked. If there is a leak in the system the pressure will be to low and the compressor won,t kick in. Re-gas aircon and check for leaks.

Hi my mercedes e240 1999 airconditioner just stopped working wont kick into cold air have had a check done it has gas so im not sure what is wrong also had the fuses checked and nothing wrong there either...

If there is no refrigerant in the system you have a leak.
I suggest taking the vehicle to a shop who employes HVAC technicians or equilavents. Dealing with refrigerants is dangerous and illegal if your not certified to do such.

How to disable seatbelt alarm on 2003 F-150?

There is a procedure in the owners manual on page 110.

BeltMinder activation and deactivation procedure
1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN (or ON) position. (DO NOT START THE ENGINE.)
2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately 1–2 minutes.)
• Steps 3–5 must be completed within 60 seconds or the procedure will have to be repeated.
3. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled. This can be done before or during BeltMinder warning activation.
4. Turn on the parklamps/headlamps, turn off the parklamps/headlamps.
5. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled
• After step 5 the safety belt warning light will be turned on for three seconds.
6. Within seven seconds of the safety belt warning light turning off, buckle then unbuckle the safety belt.
• This will disable BeltMinder if it is currently enabled, or enable BeltMinder if it is currently disabled.
7. Confirmation of disabling BeltMinder is provided by the safety belt warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds.
8. Confirmation of enabling BeltMinder is provided by:
• The safety belt warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds.
• Followed by three seconds with the safety belt warning light off.
• Once again, the safety belt warning light will flash four times per second for three seconds.
9. After receiving confirmation, the deactivation/activation procedure is complete.

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

Aircon not wrking & Warning light on dash

I am thinking that South Africa has a bit different configuration of lights than we do here in the states, over here, the third from the top is the SRS light, but I think you probably mean the radiator light.

The sensor on the over flow bottle goes bad, and the light comes on. Is the bottle feeding back into the radiator, if not, this could be a problem, how are the actual fluid levels in the system itself, not in the overflow, if you have a small leak in the radiator, it will keep the car from creating vacuum to draw fluid in from the bottle, so your bottle will always be full, while your engine starves for water.

How are your temps running on the engine? The AC has a safety switch will shut down the compressor if the temps are too high... if you are running the original stock radiator, I would bet that it needs replacement, it could well explain BOTH your problems. Check your radiator and fans (if your fans don't come on when you turn on your AC, it could also kick it off) With the car sitting there, started but still cold, turn on the AC, check to see if the fan on the timing belt side of the engine turns on - it should regardless of temperature.

Again, while it could be a fan, my bet is on the radiator.

Cheers,
Scott

Noise from A/C Compressor

Yes, look for an aircon technician that can swap a/c compressor clutch without removing the compressor from the bracket. if your lucky enough there are technicians who can do it without even leaking or discharging the gas from your aircon system
